ABOUT ORIGIN UNITE
Mission Statement
ORIGIN|Unite's mission is to fight the scourge of malnutrition, to advance the availability and access of micronutrients amongst at-risk populations, focusing primarily on children. To ensure maximum sustainable impact, we've integrated our cause in our core business which consists of product manufacturing, distribution and fundraising simply by on-going donations of our 6*59™ micronutrients via referring representatives. We believe that by making it a win-win business model it will ensure long-term continuity of aid.OUR VISION
Currently 1 in 3 children worldwide are undernourished, and when children lack the vital nutrients in their diets they get sick more often and suffer from diseases like diarrhea, measles and blindness. They also miss out on school, which means they do not have the opportunity to thrive and their future prospects are very dim and some actually die. However there is a simple solution to eradicating these unnecessary deaths, with the administering of micronutrients to children under the age of 5, this can reduce mortality by up to 23%!When you provide children with nutrients, you help them improve their health, and when children are healthy, they do better in school, and when they do better in school, they have increased earning power. With increased earning power they can break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential and they too can begin to give back. So when you provide children with nutrients, you are also providing them with an opportunity, a chance for a brighter future. The good news is that we have the solution at our finger tips; ORIGIN|Unite connects children under five with the essential nutrients to mitigate and eradicate the above mentioned diseases and mortality.

LETTER FROM CEO
Maintaining morale courage – Never accepting the unacceptable
Post the industrial revolution, the perception has been that business is responsible for most of the world’s problems. The image of business must now be transformed into one that delivers global solutions as opposed to problems. However reforming business is only one side of the coin when it comes to a massive generational shift that blurs the distinction between doing good and doing business. The other focus must be to encourage charities to be more businesslike, I strongly believe this will ensure greater sustainability in these difficult economic times. Companies are cutting down greatly on their giving essentially to keep their heads above water. While this is understandable, hunger and malnutrition must never be acceptable!
We at ORIGIN even in these tough times have made it our main focus to
provide aid on a sustainable basis, an on-going funded cause, and we
believe only a business can achieve this. The focus should now be on
transforming a non-profit into a for-profit venture, spotting a gap and
defining new goals as a catalyst for lasting change. To achieve this, we
need a new mindset, a shift in paradigm, an appeal to our
entrepreneurial spirits in making capitalism an acceptable force for
doing good in the world, because providing aid to children at-risk of
malnutrition living in dire poverty is our business priority number one!
We call it compassionate entrepreneurialism, making an impact in the
world and that is what we do here effectively! I genuinely believe
business can be a force for good, and it is not just about ‘Me’ it is
about ‘WE’! It is a much more satisfying way of doing business, and
besides I consider it my morale obligation.
